The Bed & Breakfast La Vite e il Tralcio is situated in the town of Piverone on the foothills of the Serra Morenica d'Ivrea. The wonderful veiws of the Alps and the nearby Lake of Viverone can be seen from the homestead.

If you wish to visit any religious sites you will find many different choices in this area. The Oropa, Graglia and San Giovanni sanctuaries are nearby as well as the Bose and Magnano monasteries. Well worth visiting is the Santo Stefano abbey at Settimo Vittone and the Via Francigena, which was was the major medieval pilgrimage route to Rome from the north.

In the summer the lake offers diverse water sports, and tennis and horse riding are some of the other sports that can be found in this area. In winter, only one hour drive away, is the Aosta Valley. It can be considered the Palace of "Her Majesty the Snow" with the highest, the most famous and the most beautiful mountains in the Alps, winter sports are a natural gifts here.
